Personal Project
TL;DR: I created a personal VR story based on my own experiences, exploring emotions, burnout, and how people interpret personal struggles. Through ShapesXR, I experimented with immersive environments, transitions, and interactions to make the story feel emotional and relatable. The feedback showed that people connected with the experience in different ways, which was exactly what I hoped to achieve.

About the project
This is a VR story drawn from some of my own experiences with difficult emotions and burnout. Rather than explain the story directly, I let the player move through a series of scenes and pick up on changes in the environment. The spaces, transitions, and objects carry parts of the story.
I wanted to make something that felt honest to me without spelling out exactly what someone else should feel. The project is personal, but the scenes leave room for people to connect them to their own experiences or read them in a completely different way.
What I explored
I used ShapesXR to build the scenes and experiment with transitions, interactive objects, and changes in atmosphere. I kept adjusting those details to see how they affected the pace and mood, and whether the experience communicated emotion without relying on lots of explanation.
Feedback showed me that people took different things from the same scenes. That was useful: it helped me see which parts felt clear and which parts were open to interpretation. I wanted both, so I refined the experience without closing off those personal readings.
